JO1 members and others call for the 3rd dose of vaccination

In order to create a promotion video for the 3rd dose of vaccination against the Coronavirus, the global boys group JO1 and others visited the Prime Minister’s office on the 3rd and talked with Prime Minister Kishida about it.

This was organized with the aim of “Conveying the importance of the vaccination to the elderly, young people and all generations”, and 4 people - Nishikawa Kiyoshi, Hotohara Toru, JO1’s Yonashiro Sho and Kawashiri Ren - visited the Prime Minister’s Office to film a video to encourage the vaccination.

Yonashiro said “I think it’s important to spread it wider among the younger generation, so in a world where people are anxious about getting the vaccination we hope that with our help they can first dispel their anxiety regarding the vaccination.”

Hotohara explained “I wanted to know a lot, for example about the side effects. He kindly explained everything.”

Also, Nishikawa expressed his enthusiasm, saying “By getting vaccinated myself, I want to become the wall that prevents new infections.”, stated that “(the 4 invited people are) in their 70s, 50s and 20s, so I’m thankful that it can become material that can help everyone to make a decision” and called for the vaccination of a wide range of people.
