[ORβIT] TV Guide Alpha 211130

ORβIT x World

ORβIT is a Japanese-Korean group formed by 7 members who are overflowing with talents. Believing into a brightly shining future, they came together and now they are joining their hands across the sea to deepen their bonds. Bringing ideas together, reflecting the joy of what they have made themselves and the journey of moving forward as one. This beautiful orbit will surely lead them to the World.

Since their formation the Japanese-Korean group ORβIT was separated during their activities due to the Corona pandemic, but finally they reached their “complete state” and released their 2nd mini album “Alter Ego”. With creativity and performances as their weapon their aim for the World.

It’s the first appearance of the group. Please tell us what each member thinks are strengths of the group called ORβIT.
Heecho: When I thought about what could be the strengths of ORβIT, I asked the dancers and lyrics writers around us about that. They replied “I think it’s your mysterious side”. Because there are a lot of groups, it’s difficult to separate yourself from them, but I think our strength is also that there is our opinion in everything. Our views are reflected in the songs, in the dancing, in the costumes, in the album design and logo, and the members are also editing the footage.
Yoondong: Because we are a group in which all members truly love music, I think our strength is that we have a unified will. Also, we are 7 members with great dancing, singing and faces (laughs).
Younghoon: We are a group with a strong individuality and where each member has his own strengths. We are teaching, we are teached and I think our charm is also that our aura is like the ones of friends or family.
Shunya: By listening to the demos everyone decides on the selection of the songs, so the members’ colours appear in all all works. I think this leads to ORβIT’s unique world view.
June: I think, too, that we are a group in which our songs themselves are a weapon. I feel they can be well received both by people who listen to J-Pop and by people who listen to K-Pop. Our voices are also unique which is especially noticeable in ballads in my opinion.
Tomo: One of our strengths is also that you can see our growth on the creative side because I also write lyrics, Shunya designs goods and June makes the raps.
Yugo: That we are a group that has a unique colour and musicality. Our mysteriousness is fickle… normally we are noisy, so this gap is also a charm I think (laughs)

Please introduce the member next to you.
Heecho: Next to me is the kind oldest brother Younghoon. Normally he fools around, but on stage he does everything diligently.
Younghoon: Yugo is very passionate about work and I think he is the member who runs to grasp his dreams with everything he has. He is younger than me, but there is a lot I learn from him. He is my muse!
Yugo: Thank you very much (laughs) To make it short, Yoondong-san is someone kind. He praises my expressions during the practises for the live. I was very happy and I wanted to work even harder on the dancing and everything else. He is my older brother who always cares for me. There is a lot I admire about him, so I will continue to often watch Yoondong-san and learn from him to become a better man.
Tomo: What do you want to learn the most from him?
Yugo: I want to copy how he carries luggage!
Tomo: Great! (laughs)
Heecho: But Yoondong is no errand-boy!
Yoondong: June can speak English, Japanese and Korean and he is a member with amazing language abilities.
Heecho: However his Korean is not as good as I thought it would be (laughs). Out of the members he comes from the best university. He is someone smart and a hard worker behind the scenes, but he doesn’t show it.
June: Shunya is serious. I’m also someone serious, but I think Shunya has a weird seriousness.
Tomo: A weird seriousness, is that even serious? (laughs)
June: He is serious regarding work, but often he can be too much (laughs).
Heecho: He has a soft heart, and because he is an AB-type, he might have a dual personality. In the MBTI personality test which is popular in Korea right now, he got the same type as president Obama. He is also a very kind person.
TN: According to Google, Obama, and hence Shunya, is an ENTP
Younghoon: Also, he often drinks cider.
Heecho: In movies or animes, geniuses often drink and eat sweet things, right? I think that’s what he is longing for.
Shunya: Tomo might be the one who I felt has the biggest gap since our activities started. At first, my image was that he was someone tough, but as he opened up himself I understood that he is like a young boy with a playful heart. He is someone friendly and he always fools around.
Heecho: From my Korean point of view, his Japanese is the best. He is funny and has a talent for comedy.
Tomo: Please stop (laughs). Heecho-san is also the leader and someone who works for the group when we are resting. He thinks of ORβIT 24/7.
Heecho: Gimme a break~
Tomo: He messages the staff regarding the choreography and performing, and he is someone always working. Also, I don’t know whether the fans know it, but Heecho is actually really funny.
Heecho: …. I don't mind to work a lot because I get praised.
Tomo: Look, it’s funny how you whispered that!

In Korea you seem to live separated in 3 groups. I would like to ask you about how it is to live together?
Heecho: I’m living with Yugo and June, but once the members gathered at my place and we watched the popular drama “Squid Game” together. Shunya is not good with grotesque things, so I think he doesn’t really know the plot.
Shunya: No, it’s not like that! But it’s scary when there is a lot of blood…
Heecho: He was scared but managed to watch it until the end.
Younghoon: He was the most scared.
Heecho: However it was the episode that made me realise how cute Shunya surprisingly is (laughs).
Younghoon: I’m living together with Tomo, but I always forget to dry my clothes after washing them. A weird smell ends up appearing and I have to run the washing machine again (laughs).
Tomo: It would be good if I noticed that, but I’m the same (laughs).
Yoondong: I’m living with Shunya and I was surprised that he can eat spicy things.
Tomo: Shunya’s stomach and guts are strong!
Shunya: After coming here I got used to it. Spicy Korean dishes are just not spicy but also very delicious, aren’t they? Yoondong-san helped me a lot because he paid attention. Just like I forget to turn on the washing machine, leave the house and when I come back (I think) it has finished.
June: You forgot to turn on the washing machine before hanging the clothes (laughs)
Shunya: That’s right. That’s why I’m worried he will be upset one day (laughs)
Yoondong: When are you going to do it~! (laughs) But Shunya throws away the trash, right?
Shunya: …. That’s how we get along (laughs)
Yugo: We communicate each day and with our life in Korea we deepen our bonds, right? We don’t think of it as something to expect, but I want to be active while feeling gratitude.
Heecho: The Japanese members also started to understand Korean and I feel a little relieved.
Tomo: I can understand a bit of what is said, but talking (in Korean) is still difficult…
June: Even when you don’t understand it, you say “Nee” (yes in Korean), don’t you?
Shunya: That’s how we survive (laughs)

What is your favourite song from the mini album “Alter Ego”?
Yoondong: I like the intro, the bridge and the chorus of the title track “Eclipse”.
Shunya: We decided on the songs while exchanging our opinions, so I have confidence in all songs. Among them, there is the pop and cheerful song “Hana” which was already in the works when we prepared the album “OO” and I was the one who actively approached everyone and said that I wanted to do that song. It’s a type of song I never imagined doing with ORβIT, so I was happy that it was included. It seems like a song that will be important to us and our fans.
June: It’s a song that can make everyone excited at a live, right? The song that I wanted to do is “Shady”. The lyrics are related to the meaning of the album title and the lyrics are in relation to the term “different personality”. You don’t know yourself that you have a dual personality, but the other person does… like this. I think it would be interesting for the fans to take a deeper look into it. I like the melody of the song and the balance of singing and rapping is good.
Heecho: I personally prefer ballads over dance tracks, hence if I had to choose one song, it would be “With”.
Younghoon: I like “With” too. The lyrics that Tomo wrote are really good.
Yugo: My favourite song is also “With”. Tomo also wrote the lyrics for “Showersnow” of “OO”, but I like that it takes a different perspective on the snow of the same winter.
Tomo: I'm glad to hear you saying this because I wrote the lyrics so that people can feel my personality while not having the same perception of snow. Since it was decided that the 7 of us would come together, I changed the contents of the lyrics. Yugo also added his feelings for the members into the lyrics of “Forever” which you wrote, right?
Yugo: When I couldn’t sleep, I opened the window and while thinking of the seasons and times that have passed until now and what is coming, I wrote those lyrics. I think it has become a text that not only the fans but also people who don’t know us can relate to.
June: When I’m writing the rap parts, I’m adding what I’m thinking and when I’m writing the whole lyrics like I did for “Shady”, I’m thinking of it like the story of a movie. Starting by deciding on the title, the concept and the theme from the start, I write the lyrics.

Before you were separated in Japan and Korea and worked, but this time the production happened while the 7 of you were together. Were there huge differences in how you communicate and such?
Yoondong: The recordings before were also separately, so I was the most happy that we were able to prepare while talking together.
Younghoon: We were together, we could talk directly with each other and say our opinions, so a lot of things were quickly decided.
Yoondong: In addition, June taught me about the details of the Japanese lyrics and gave me advice on the pronunciation.
June: Actually, normally we talk in Japanese. But when we talk deeply and seriously, it is in Korean. When there are only the members, I end up interpreting, but among the staff members there are also people who can speak both languages, so it’s no problem at all.
Shunya: One year has passed since we made our debut and finally we were able to talk together about creating music, MV shootings and lives, and I felt this is our true form. Heecho-san directs the recording and he teaches the members a lot also regarding dancing. When we practised in Japan, I tried to figure out where I was putting too much energy into, but thanks to his advice regarding where and how to align our performances I was able to learn a lot about how to show myself.
Yugo: I also put too much power into dancing, so I also got advice from him. I’m also thankful that the big brothers gave me specific advice, such as here it would be good to sing like this.
Tomo: I’m bad at communicating via text, so it was really good to be able to discuss while seeing the facial expression of the other one. My strength is R&B, but this time there were a lot of songs that didn’t apply to me. I challenged various music genres while receiving advice and by singing difficult songs like “Forever” or “With” I think I was able to grow as a vocalist.
Heecho: In the end it’s smoother to make an album and discuss the live performances while seeing each other’s faces. I think the fans will also be delighted with the environment that the 7 of us were able to create together and I also think that it is an album that will be attractive to people who don’t know about this situation. We did everything we could, so it’s time to let go and in my mind I switched to the preparations of the next album already.

Please tell us of your future dreams as a Japanese-Korean group with a global perspective.
Tomo: Due to the influence of covid, frightening times continue, but now we just have to work hard on what we have to do and what we can do. That we were able to show us 7 being together made us happy and I hope to communicate and be active in order to make EαRTH happy.
Shunya: There are members who can speak both Japanese and Korean and Jun can also speak English, so I want to work hard to be able to go out into the world. I hope we grow into a group that can make the most of each one’s specialities.
June: Since coming here, I started thinking that I have to learn more Korean and learn English properly… ORβIT is a group in which each member’s individuality is strong and everyone can do many things in their own way. The image is that the group is the place where everyone can do what they want and come together in the end. Also we can work hard thanks to the support of EαRTH, so I would like to express my gratitude to them.
Yoondong: I didn’t expect to be active with people from a different country, but everyone is kind and besides cultural differences we get along while working. I want to keep this good atmosphere going forever.
Younghoon: It’s the same for me. I would like to work with them not just as colleagues with whom I happen to work together, instead I would like to maintain this relationship as normal friends who talk about singing, dancing and being on stage. This is my dream.
Yugo: I hope that we can continue to create an environment where we, whose individuality is strong, can be just like who we are.
Heecho: I don’t have dreams. That’s because for example, the ceiling could collapse while I’m talking about this, or the car could have an accident on the way home. Hence, I don’t look into the future, and it’s important just to enjoy the present as much as you can and do your best. To be honest, I have no idea how being a Japanese-Korean group will affect our future activities. After all, what we want to do is music and since I was a child I was taught that countries and languages do not matter when it comes to music.I want to enjoy the present and continue our activities with maximum effort.

[ORβIT] GIANNA 210413

First GIANNA appearance of ORβIT, the super popular Japanese-Korean 7 member group! Big release of a honest talk about love, friendship, music and more which wasn’t talked about before!

TOMO: I wasn’t interested in anything but singing and I finally arrived here.
YOUNGHOON: If it’s not heartfelt, that relationship will crumble on the spot.
HEECHO: Because I’m bad at expressing myself in words.
SHUNYA: I feel like slowly I can like my singing voice.
JUNE: Since I listened to Eminen and was shocked.
YUGO: When I noticed it, I liked it.
YOONDONG: I want to bring high quality songs and performances

Q1: When you meet a girl the first time, where do you pay attention to first?
TOMO: Actually, I haven’t paid attention to that yet, but when we talk, I look at her eyes, so it might be those? Girls with beautiful hair are also lovely. Also, I have a thing for legs.
YOUNGHOON: I pay attention to the words and actions they use towards seniors. That’s an important point for me.
HEECHO: Atmosphere.
SHUNYA: I think I want to enjoy food and shopping with each other, so it might be that I pay attention to the attitude and wording towards the clerks. Because if you are a scary person, I might become uncomfortable and exhausted -laughs-
JUNE: There is a lot, but it’s nice when the perfume or shampoo has a nice smell! Whenever I go out I use perfume, too.
YUGO: It’s her hair. When I see women who have smooth black hair, I end up following her with my eyes.
YOONDONG: I pay attention to the atmosphere. Rather than paying attention to one thing, I'm someone who looks at the surrounding aura and atmosphere.

Q2: In order to make the girl like you, which charm do you bring out?
TOMO: I’m not good at that, so I might be just able to tell her that I like her. Also, staying natural as much as possible so that the other likes me for who I am.
YOUNGHOON: There isn’t any charm that I have shown so far or that I should show. I think the best is when she sees my actual self and naturally starts to like me.
HEECHO: The ones who daringly not do anything might be noticed.
SHUNYA: I’m someone quite friendly towards girls, but I’m a late bloomer towards the one I like, so I’ll start with polishing myself -explodes in laughing- With this person as my motivation in order to become a cool guy I will work hard to become more and more handsome from the parts that can be changed like working out or clothes!
JUNE: I’m going to attack ravenously without giving up until I’m liked. From time to time I might act like I’m not interested, but then I’m attacking again!
YUGO: I think I try to look neat even on OFF days. Actually I have no idea through… -laughs-
YOONDONG: I will be kind until she likes me. I try to understand this person little by little, match my preferences to them and make them like me naturally.

Q3: When it comes to date fashion what is the part that you give your all about?
TOMO: I might be shoes? I’m not stylish so I have no idea
YOUNGHOON: It’s not fashion, but perfume. Because the memories that remain together with the smell will be vividly recalled in the moment I smell that scent.
HEECHO: atmosphere
SHUNYA: Normally, I don’t use it at all, but when I want to aim high or on an important day I often use perfume! During the online singing for “OO” there were a lot of questions about “perfume”, but actually I want “perfume” to be something special when we meet, so I didn’t answer -sweats- I’m sorry!
JUNE: I think I’m the most hyped about tops! It’s the part that’s the most noticeable, so I want to keep in mind a sense of cleanliness and the attire that fits the fashion of the other one.
YUGO: Because I’m short, it’s pants. I wear flare pants and make a cord that takes care of the length.
YOONDONG: I give my all about bringing out a natural feeling that looks like I’m not giving my all -laughs- A showy style is also good, but I like simple fashion that is mainly casual.

Q4: An imagined date plan of what you want to do in spring?
TOMO: I want to do something like making a spring-ish lunchbox, going to watch the cherry blossoms and go on a walk with the dog in the park. Spring is pleasantly warm, so a date outside might be nice.
YOUNGHOON: I want to go to watch the cherry blossoms or to a festival in the cherry blossom season. Since I was born I haven’t done that yet.
HEECHO: I’m not someone who is energetic … or who makes plans so… eh, maybe going on a drive…
SHUNYA: We decide on the schedule in advance, but we arrange the meeting time while exchanging messages and while wandering around we search for shops and parks that we both enjoy. In the evening it would be nice if we eat some delicious food and drink alcohol and go home while sobering up or wandering around again.
JUNE: I want to go out on a day with good weather and eat something at various shops! I want to eat and drink delicious things little by little.
YUGO: We buy delicious coffee and bread and go on a drive along the shore while listening to our favorite music! It’s nice if we can take a walk at night while watching the cherry blossoms.
YOONDONG: Going to watch the cherry blossoms and a drive on a day with good weather!

Q5: What words from a girl would you make the most happy?
TOMO: I might be happy when she tells me that she likes my voice. Because singing is my profession, I’ll be very happy if my voice and my singing is praised.
YOUNGHOON: YOUNGHOON-san is cool and gentle! I will forever support you.
HEECHO: Well, I’m not really a person who is influenced by the words of others so…
SHUNYA: It’s “lovely”. Normally, when I praise other people, it’s hard to use words like “lovely” and it’s a bit embarrassing with adult-like words… Especially that’s why I want to become able to use it myself and I would be very happy to hear it!
JUNE: Simply, I will be happy if someone says I’m “cool”. When I’m told this my mood raises.
YUGO: There is nothing in particular. Regardless of being a man or a woman, if you can express your gratitude, it will feel honest and warm.
YOONDONG: “Here is the coffee that you ordered” (Because I love Starbucks) -laughs-

Q6: What is your favourite song until now?
TOMO: Of course, I like all songs, but it might be the ballad “Flor Luner” from the new album. When I listened to the demo track, I made everyone do it because I wanted to do it in any way -laughs-
YOUNGHOON: I like “Dionaea” which is featured on our new mini album “Enchant”. I like it since the stage of being a demo and I want to perform it live soon.
HEECHO: I favour my own songs and I value all of them. I think I wouldn’t release not even one song I don’t like.
SHUNYA: No idea~~~ -laughs- I think for “OO” we choose nothing but good songs, but if I had to choose one, it’s “Ready to burn”! Personally, I rarely like such powerful songs, but the lyrics really do match our mental attitude before the debut and I think JUNE-kun really wrote good lyrics.
JUNE: It’s “Dionaea”! I wrote the lyrics and it’s a song I’m really fond of. I tried to write lyrics that fit the concept and included rapping, so please listen to it!
YUGO: I think there are a lot of people who like “Crazy Love” and “Bloom” among ORβIT’s songs, but I like “Show Off” which showcased that I can also do such songs.
YOONDONG: I like all of them, but of course “Lazurite” which was the first song we published is something special among them.

Q7: Please tell us about your favourite phrase from the new mini album!
TOMO: It is “I wish it was the reason that his garden became a thorny shrub and I can’t go home” from the ballad this time. All songs have really good phrases, so everyone please discover a lot of those.
YOUNGHOON: The last part of “Gokurakuchouka ~ Bird of Paradise~”. The gentle atmosphere of the singing makes it more touching.
HEECHO: The phrases from “Flor Luner” “At least don’t wake me if the dream bubble breaks.” and “I want to stay beautiful, and looking down flowers are nimbly”
SHUNYA: I like the phrase from the chorus of “Blind” “blindfold of sin~”Actually, I think that phrase is a poem that expresses the song “Blind” well and it’s based on JUNE-kun’s idea, so please pay attention to it when listening!
JUNE: It’s the part “To the point that I don’t care whether it’s a rusty cage” from “Gokurakuchouka ~ Bird of Paradise~”! I think there are many things that seem rusty on the surface when you look at their essence they are something wonderful.
YUGO: It’s the phrase “an appropriate defect” from “Never gonna get away” which I wrote the lyrics for. It’s hard to understand conflicting words, but you will understand it when you progress through the story. There isn’t one answer, so please think about it.
YOONDONG: I like the sound of “Never gonna get away” from the song with the same name.

Q8: During your music activities, was there a moment when you thought you are glad that you are doing this with these members?
TOMO: I always think that, but it might be when we happily eat something or fool around no matter if it’s during work or outside of work. Each one's personality is absolutely different, everyone is unique and I never get tired of it -laughs.
YOUNGHOON: When the members sing a ballad together. It’s difficult to express your emotions in a ballad, but everyone expresses their own colour perfectly, so I feel that’s amazing.
HEECHO: It seems like the reason why I want to be active for a long time is that I want more moments when I think so.
SHUNYA: After all, it was the moment when the first album was completed and I listened to the songs. I thought that the voices and colours of each person played the role of good spices, and I thought I’ll do my best not to lose to these people, so it was the moment when I felt again that we are members of the same group.
JUNE: It’s all the members! Everyone has something that I don’t have and I’m always motivated by them, so I feel I want to work harder.
YUGO: Everyone is gentle and the atmosphere in the group is good, so I always feel it’s good that we are together.
YOONDONG: When we completed ORβIT’s debut album “OO” and listened to the songs together, I was really happy and felt blessed.

Q9: Please tell us how you started to like music and dancing!
TOMO: In the beginning I didn’t like singing, but when I was a middle or high school student, I sang seriously and since then I suddenly liked to sing. Since that day, I wasn’t interested in anything but singing and it brought me here. -laughs-
YOUNGHOON: There was a famous dancer that I like during my time as a university student and while watching these videos a lot I ended up falling for the charms of dancing. After that when I embraced the dream of a choreographer and worked as a backdancer for TV programs, there was an offer from an agency and I debuted.
HEECHO: Because I think I’m bad at expressing myself with words.
SHUNYA: To be honest, I hated singing. I didn’t like my voice and much more I didn’t like my singing voice. But since I joined ORβIT, whenever EαRTH who support me or the members praise me, slowly I become confident and I feel like I can like my singing voice.
JUNE: I was shocked when I first listened to Eminen after a friend at school recommended him to me. From there on I started to listen to various music genres and noticed how wonderful music is!
YUGO: While I watched the high level songs, dancing and rapping from K-POP artists and imitated those, I noticed that I ended up liking it.
YOONDONG: Since I was young I watched a lot of music programs, so naturally I started to like singing and dancing.

Q10: When doing music activities what is something you value?
TOMO: It’s something obvious, but it’s to continually grow in order to do each song as good as possible. I don’t want to compromise on anything for sure, so I’ll do everything I can in this case.
YOUNGHOON: It’s sincerity. I think that in the relationship of mankind supporting each other, if you are not heartfelt, this relationship will crumble on the spot.
HEECHO: Placing your identity and feelings into a song.
SHUNYA: I value “the things I like”. After all, there are preferences in music and those are different among the members, too. But it’s consistent to do the things you like! Especially that’s why there are times when you come in conflict, but I feel like when there are clashes something good can result from it!!!
JUNE: It’s balancing the music that you want to express yourself with and the music that the fans and people who don’t know you yet would like.
YUGO: Not to make compromises. It’s the job of an artist to use sounds to deliver a lot of thoughts to everyone, so I won’t even compromise a bit. I think it’s time to quit when you start to compromise.
YOONDONG: I value quality the most. I want to bring high quality music and performances to the people who listen to our music.

Q11: What do you want to do with the members now? Where do you want to go?
TOMO: When the current awful situation has calmed down, I want to travel abroad. I want to visit various places and more than anything else I want to do lives and go on tour. But just eating with everyone is already fun, so everything is fine -laughs-
YOUNGHOON: I want to take a VLOG of all members borrowing a car and going on a trip. The destination doesn’t matter. Because no matter where we go it will be the happiest place on earth.
HEECHO: More than something like what we are doing or where we are going, I just want us to be together.
SHUNYA: I want to have a live!! I really want to bring live the 7 members singing and dancing to all the fans who support us. When I first saw a live of a male artist, I thought “I want to become someone who can give a time that you can forget yourself in”, so together with these members and the fans I want to have a live as soon as possible where we can share the same room and time.
JUNE: It’s fun no matter where we go if all members gather, so I want to gather as soon as possible. I want to have silly conversations with everyone the whole time!
YUGO: I want to have a BBQ in the depth of the mountains. I really like the mountains, so I want to eat delicious meat there. I want to have various talks with the members during the BBQ.
YOONDONG: I want to go on vacation with all members and eat lots of delicious things! The destination could be the sea!? But, it’s fine no matter where we go because I want us to go together!

Q12: Who is the most hardworking member? Who is the loveable one?
TOMO: Because everyone is working hard, I can’t decide on who works the hardest, but SHUNYA who had the mind that he wasn’t good at singing really makes an effort. Whenever we go through the recordings repeatedly, he steadily becomes better, so it’s joyous to see. The loveable one is absolutely YUGO -laughs-
YOUNGHOON: SHUNYA. When we practised the choreography in Japan, it took some individual practise to match everyone, but I was impressed that he practised alone a lot to the point that I really wanted to say “Stop it!”. The loveable one… It should be YUGO? -laughs- He’s cute no matter what he does.
HEECHO: It’s that everyone works hard, but each member has different attribute values, so I can’t judge who is the most hardworking one. I think everyone is doing their biggest efforts… And who is beloved is YUGO for sure. From the viewpoint of his big brothers, no matter what he does, it seems cute.
SHUNYA: The most hardworking member might be YUGO! He is the greediest member or that he is very intense and aiming high. That’s why, when I see this YUGO, I’m always motivated!! The lovable one might unexpectedly be JUNE-kun -breaks out laughing- Both the Korean and Japanese members repeatedly joke with him and he often relaxes the atmosphere.
JUNE: Both the hard worker and the loveable one is YUGO! Also during practise he stoically works hard and even during shootings he is loved due his lots of cuteness!
YUGO: JUNE is both. His efforts regarding the things he likes are amazing. No matter what you let him do, he can do it, so there are times when I think “Was that really an effort?” -laughs- Also, JUNE is the one who is the biggest jester in the group.
YOONDONG: Everyone is making a lot of efforts, but I think among them Shunya is very seriously working hard. That’s why he is loved by everyone.

Q13: If a fight happens with another member, how would you reconcile?
TOMO: There might not have been a true fight yet. Of course, when doing our activities, we talk with each other a lot so that we can understand the opinions, but because we can talk with each other, it hasn’t become something like a fight.
YOUNGHOON: There was no fight yet, but if there was one, I think first I would apologise in Japanese and reconcile.
HEECHO: There was no fight yet, so.. We will inform you how we make up if there is a fight in the near future.
SHUNYA: There was no fierce fight yet, but something like a small quarrel? But after a while everything returned to normal, so I don’t have any special reconcile experience. But there might be some in the future -laughs-
JUNE: There wasn’t such a fight yet, but if there was one we would talk with each other earnestly and settle it.
YUGO: Because everyone is quite old, there was no big fight yet. Even when there was one by talking with each other we would reconcile fast.
YOONDONG: I don’t know because there wasn’t a fight yet.

Q14: Please tell us about a secret “2nd face” of a member!
TOMO: I feel like pretty much all members are good guys who don’t have a second face -laughs- If I had to say something, it’s SHUNYA and JUNE who have a silly side and quite like to joke around, so that the settings are always lively. They really become like kids -laughs-
YOUNGHOON: I think the members know everything about me until my private side, so there is no second face.
HEECHO: I think to some extent I showed everything.
SHUNYA: HEECHO-san’s cheeks become bigger when he pronounces “so” -breaks out laughing- It becomes like “ah so!” Everyone please try to pay attention to this!!
JUNE: HEECHO-kun is a loner. I often end up being surprised because he suddenly contacts me -laughs-
YUGO: The fans might think HEECHO is not a human, but something like a godlike being, but actually he is the most human one.
YOONDONG: I’m someone who cries on the spot when there is a sad scene in a drama or movie, but I’ve noticed that I didn’t show that to the members yet.

Q15: Please tell us about your goal for this year and for the future!
TOMO: This year the awful current situation finally passes, I want to bring our music to the fans at a live as soon as possible. Also, I want to make a year when a lot of people will listen to our music.
YOUNGHOON: It will be a topic that once COVID is over, I want to do lives and fanmeetings and I want to take a VLOG of traveling with all the members.
HEECHO: Realistically, first it’s getting the members together.
SHUNYA: It’s “”Performing with the 7 members!!!!!!!” In 2020 due to COVID we couldn’t travel between Japan and South Korea and the time we had together was really short, so I hope 2021 becomes a year when the 7 members can be together. I want to make a year of ORβIT with EαRTH.
JUNE: I want to be more known by people who don’t know us yet. I will work hard to release a lot of songs this year so that everyone can support me even more!
YUGO: I wish we can have a live with all 7 members. Because we have a lot of wonderful songs, I want to work hard so that people who don’t know us yet will listen to those.
YOONDONG: My aim is that more people get to know about ORβIT, releasing lots of works and more than anything having a live as soon as possible.

There was also resonance for the previous interview from overseas, but did you study foreign languages? Something you recently learnt?
Shunya: I look at Korean vocabulary flashcards, but because I often watch Korean dramas, gradually I became able to understand words that often appear in those.
Heecho: I’m at my limit with Japanese only, so I can’t speak any other foreign languages. But I still have to work hard on my Japanese...
Tomo: but the 3 Korean members are learning Japanese naturally, so their Japanese is really good.
Heecho: the Japanese the members teach us are nothing but swear words... -laughs-
Tomo: No it’s the opposite! -laughs- We asked you to teach us Korean, but you teach us nothing but swear words
Heecho: -laughs- the world is dangerous, so (we teach you) strong words -laughs-

In the previous interview you said “I want to eat something cooked by Yoondong”. Did it come true?
Shunya: I ate it! It was delicious~!
Yoondong: I made kimchi fried rice and they ate it.
Heecho: Eh, when? I didn’t eat it -laughs-
Younghoon: When everyone went to BUGVEL’s recording, me, Shunya and Yoondong ate it.
Heecho: We ate takoyaki at the studio back then. Takoyaki, I love those.

In fact you started as an artist with the album “OO”´, but what was everyone’s turning point regarding music in your life?
Heecho: The start was that I liked dancing, so I wanted to become a dancer, but it wasn’t approved by my mother and I was told “How about (you become) a singer?”. However, I wasn’t a good singer and I couldn’t rap, too, and I continued while struggling, but when I was a high school student and became sick, the doctor told me “It might be that you can’t dance and sing anymore in the future.” and it was a huge shock for me. I truly felt that “I like this job so much to be that shocked.” and I became seriously aiming for that once again.

[...] Please tell us again the circumstances and reasons why these 7 people came together (as ORβIT).
Heecho: For some time I had been listening to everyone’s worries, but there was a moment when the topic “What should we do from now on?” was raised. (I’ve said,) If that’s the case, let’s do it with these members together! I told them “Because I will take responsibility” and from then on I also talked to various people, looked for people who help us and we became this.
Yugo: When we were formed, the first thing I felt was that I was happy that I can do it together with everyone I liked a lot and that I wanted to do the things we all wanted to do.
Tomo: After the talk “Let’s do with these 7 people” came up among these members, there were no other options for me anymore. Heecheon-san became the lead such as in setting up the company, but I think it was decided by everyone that not only the leader should bear responsibility, but each one of us.
