I’m Kawashiri Ren. In Highschool I was called Ren-chan, but I don’t have any particular nickname. Please think of one, everyone.

Q2: Your birthday and age?
I’m born on 1997 March 2nd which makes me… how is it? well If this is released after March i’ll be 25 years old. in case this is before March I’m still 24 years old.

Q3: What is your position in the team?
Well, I’m the performance leader and father. hehehe

Q4: If you analysed your personality, what kind of personality do you have?
My personality… It is that I’m serious, kind and stubborn. I’m these 3 things. I think stubbornness is strong? Yes…

Q5: Your recent hobby?
What could it be… what was it? Ah, there is something. It’s not something recent but ah.. how to say it? When I hear about the birthday of people I often meet like staff with who I work or the members, I note all the birthdays and I’m into collecting someone’s birthday for each day of the year. But I have just about 1/7 of those gathered so far so please tell me your birthday.

Q6: Is there something you would like to challenge in the future?
Something I would like to challenge… ah… I dunno whether I can do it but I would like to make the floor at home…. How do say it? It’s not DIY… I would like to replace the floor and change it into a cool one. It’s just a wish and I haven’t planned anything for it yet but once I planned something I would like to try that.

Q7: What is something you want to eat the most right now?
Wow… eh… if it’s right now in this moment, it would be tsukemen hahaha well, I happened to think that I want to eat noodles and there are a lot like Ramen, Udon, Soba and such, but I like tsukemen the most. I want to eat oily tsukemen.
TN: Tsukemen are noodles you dip into the sauce before eating

Q8: What is your favourite part of your body?
My favourite part of my body… hm… it’s the part I started to like because JAM praise it. I started to like my eyes. Because JAM often praise my eyes, it’s a part of my body I’m confident of.

Q9: If you had a day off, what would you like to do?
If I had a day off, what would I do? Hm… Okinawa! I want to go to Okinawa. I was there only once, so I would like to finally go again.

Lastly… JAM, how was my ASMR? It was also my first ASMR, I’m talking towards a microphone that looks like ears, so in the remaining time when I’m changing the ear, it’s changed for you, too? When I’m talking to the right ear it changes to your right ear. It’s fun, right? I have heard that this microphone is sold online, so I would like to buy it~

👑: I think mine and Ren’s memory might be one…

Today OWV celebrates our 1st debut anniversary!

So fast,
On this day it also happened that it was my turn for the blog

Because of this feeling, it seems to become a long one

Once more, the 1st anniversary of the debut.
It’s been so fast
Since the blog I wrote the day before a year ago
I truly wonder whether another year has passed.

I wanted to clearly remember the things from back then
so I returned to last year’s blog.

Well, that blog was great, right?
I can clearly remember what I thought and what happened back then.

Back then it was a September 29th
when I strongly felt
the anxiety and anticipation of the upcoming debut
and the gratitude for everyone who always supported us

It’s been a year since then

Looking back I was able to experience a lot
Also I created a lot of memories with OWV

First of all, today a year ago,
we made our major debut on September 30.
It was the day that marked the start line as OWV.

I wrote that also last year
but when I look back like this,
when I first started writing this
the major debut might have been our actual goal
but it changed into our startline.
Such a deep thought

From then one we released
the 4 singles
“Ready Set Go”
“Roar”
“Get Away”.

This is truly thanks to QWV
who always support us
that we were able to create so many wonderful releases.

We talked in the interview with the media
and introduced and explained our songs
but there are a lot of works
that are based on our thoughts and feelings of that time

Yet with this in mind with the next release
the album “CHASER” will be a record of
what we have felt as OWV, our strong determination and thoughts
the music that we want to show, the progress and growth of OWV in this year.

It became an album that everyone can enjoy and that makes you know OWV better
no matter if you supported us the whole time
or you got to know us only recently.

I’m sorry for making this like an advertising
but it’s really a wonderful album that lets you look back on this one year.

In the current era, a lot of artists are active
and there in this world where are a lot of boy groups
it feels like a miracle that you found OWV and support us
and I’m thankful for this.
I value this feeling and OWV will continue to improve
so that you won’t regret it.

There will probably various more artists
who appear in this world
and the complicatedness to shine or the intensity
and the difficulty to be discovered among them might become more apparent,
but OWV’s core that runs as “the one and only”
will remain unshaken in the 2nd year of our activities.

you support us at so many places
and I do feel that I’m cheered on.

It’s Honda.
On behalf of TeamOWV,
I will write a bit in this blog.

Finally tomorrow on September 30,
We as OWV will make our major debut.

Everyone who waited for us until now
Thank you so much.
One year has passed since the day the program was aired.
Time passes so fast,,

From that time when the show started, when you found us and supported us
From that time when the show was over and you came to know us
From that time when you knew and supported us before the show
From that time when we did the radio during the corona pandemic
From that time when we became OWV and started the activities

I think they are a lot of timings,
But there is one thing I want to tell
everyone who has waited for us

Of course the debut isn’t our goal at all
but thank you for letting us gasp it at this time now

There might be also a lot of fans
who sadly left us until now.
Thank you for supporting us for this extent

Q: What is a new side of yourself that you recently discovered?
Some time ago during Process JO1 the members played soccer, but I scored a goal.. and rather than the moment of scoring one, that I precisely got the other one’s shot made me happy. Thus, what makes me happy is rather than attacking, I'm happier when I protect everyone. that’s what I felt somehow to be my new side.

Q: Which member has various sides?
It's our leader Yonashiro Sho. I think in front of everyone Sho-kun is seen as the serious leader, but when it’s just us he is really an airhead, absent minded and he seems cute. Occasionally our work ends really late, but he gets sleepy and he can’t hold back. When he gets sleepy, his face becomes like the sleepy one of a baby. So I discovered a babyish, child-like side of him.
