OWV’s Sano Fumiya-kun “It was so hard cause it was too cold…” Which winter memory makes him say that?

The popular boy group OWV released their 7th single “Let Go” under the concept of “holding close” on 2nd November. Following the concept of “holding close” we held special interviews with OWV about “what do you want to share with OWV this winter”.For this we bring you new shots of OWV dressed in the mid-winter London coat style. The last one is Sano Fumiya-kun who protects the quality of OWV’s performances!

FUMIYA SANO
Born 25th May 1997. 25 years old and from the prefecture of Yamanashi. He is someone skilled who has experience as a back dancer for national and international artists. He has choreographed some songs for OWV and supports the quality of their performances.

“What do you want to do this winter?” Chasing the true side of Sano-kun!

What is the first thing that comes into your mind when you hear “winter”?
Illuminations come into my mind. I like those so much that I even go to watch them alone. In the past I went to the ones in Yurakucho, Hibiya and so on. It was beautiful how they shined.

By the way do you have a “winter” memory?
Hm… There was a snow mountain filming for “OWV road”. We went there at 4 or 5 in the morning.

Was it fun?
No, it was brutal (laughs). The worst part was to raise your mood and switch into it in the extreme cold when they said “Okay! Starting now!” (Laughs). It was so cold…

“I want to try various ones and find my favorite” New items he wants to get this winter

This must have been hard… Do you have something you want to eat in such a cold winter?

Eh, our answers overlapped!? (Laughs) I never thought we would overlap with something I only say once a year… It is something rare. We will go to Yamanash for TGC, so then I want to eat it. (*The interview was held before TGC Yamanashi)

Please do your best at TGC! By the way, please tell us about the fashion you want to wear this winter.
It’s not really clothes but… I want to try out perfume. The other 3 members often use it, but since I’m the type not to use it, I’m curious.

What kind of scents do you like?
I don’t like irritating smells, but otherwise everything is fine! I still don’t know much so I want to try using a lot and find my favorite.

Is there anything other than perfume that you want this winter?
(Direct answer) Warmth. I want a warmth like miso soup, which wraps you up. I want to soak in kindness (laughs).

I want to go for winter sports with all members!

So, do you have a place where you want to visit this winter?
We talked about wanting to go together to do winter sports. Like going to Zao in Yamagata! This is the biggest ski resort in Japan. Before making my debut I went skiing and snowboarding, but since then I haven't… I want to go with everyone.

For Honda-kun it was at the cinema.
You can do this at other times, too (laughs). So… (looks above while imaging something) For me it’s going to a park! We look at the fallen leaves and feel the cold wind in a big park, while saying “This year is soon over, too” and we are both wrapped in a scarf together, holding hands and slowly walking through the park. And in my free hand I’m holding some hot coffee…

This is very specific.
Isn’t that date good? I could imagine visiting a local ryokan, too, but the park is more realistic!

Next up is music! Which kind of music do you want to listen to this winter?
The right answer would be “Let Go”, but in my OWV-role I should give a different answer (laughs). Winter is cold, so I want to listen to some really summer-like songs that will make me feel fired up! Shonan no Kaze’s “Entenka” fires up my heart!

Do you have anything you want to try this winter?
I can’t say something weird because if I say something too challenging they might turn it into a project (laughs). I’ll seriously think about it! Give me a minute (thinks seriously) Cleaning up! That’s winter-like, isn’t it?

Are you good at cleaning and tidying up?
I am really good. I quite like it to be clean, so I’m cleaning every day. I’m the type who wants to keep his space clear. That’s why I prefer to be home alone. But when it comes to someone close, like my family or a girlfriend, I don’t think about it at all.
