It’s a work that is filled with new pictures spanning over about 130 pages. What is 1 scene from the shooting side that left an impression? The “laid back” shooting that was done with the image of a share house, took place at an isolated house near the sea shore. I somehow said “If everyone would live in such a wonderful house together, everyday would be fun, right?” while we took the shoots of everyone sitting on the sofa.
If JO1 lived in a house with a lot of shared places, what kind of mood would there be? The one who would always stand in the kitchen would be Sho-kun. The one who seems to work the hardest on cleaning would be Takumi-kun. And me? I would go to Shion’s room and have fun with him while playing games and or rapping -laughs-
JO1 are also fashion icons. This work captivates with everyone's diverse looks. I myself made a lot of discoveries. The suit pictures that dressed us up as stylish and cool seem to be something that can be enjoyed by readers of "Numero TOKYO" of whom I have a stylish image…
What is your favourite item among the ones you wore for this book? The green coat. There are a lot of pictures of members wearing coats and each one is dressed up in one that suits their aura. Everyone’s coat is also cool, but of course I like the one I wore the most. Privately I wear nothing but black -laughs-, so colourful items are nice!
Is there a picture that you can’t stop looking at? It’s the one taken with everyone at the pier at night. It was new to me to have a shooting at night, but on this day unexpectedly the rain and wind were really… What looks like snow on the picture is actually rain. It was real and not artificial wind or rain! Especially the hair styles became soggy, and it was quite cold, but it was so much fun. It makes a miraculous picture and I can’t stop looking at it!
That you choose a group picture is typical for you. By the way, which one of yourself do you recommend? I will talk again about the coat, but the picture of me wearing it and looking over my shoulder makes me look good -laughs- I wanted to create an emotional atmosphere and I think I was able to do facial expressions like I never did before, so… I recommend this one!
Watching anime is your hobby. What is something that impressed you recently? It’s “Black Clover” which takes place in a world where magic exists and the characters aim for the top magic users. Among the characters there is a boy who is bad at using magic, but he is cool by being a hard worker and challenging everything without giving up. Of the ones I watched recently it emotionally resonated with me the most.
Is there something animes, movies or drama that you want to watch have in common? I’m looking for unreal worlds. No matter if it’s SF or romance, I like works that have a plot twist that make me think like “there is something like that?” Travelling time is always video time.
A recently adopted beauty routine? Though it is kinda late now, I started to use a steamer! The lotion is moistening much more now. As for the body or scalp, the “softness” of the skin is important. I’m worried about skin troubles when using a mask, so I always use it daily.
There is also that rumour that you are a beauty otaku! What is exactly the fascination of cosmetics? I’m not scared wherever I am watched! -laughs- Cosmetics give me that confidence. The other day, JO1 were appointed as ambassadors for “YSL BEAUTÉ” and another dream I had came true. My next dream is to increase the number of guys interested in cosmetics as much as possible and of course girls, too. I hope I can help with that!
