The boy group OWV is popular for their diverse and genre breaking songs. Their 5th single “You”, released on 9th March, has a mid tempo ballad as a title track for the first time. Following the single concept of “beginnings”, we asked all OWV members about various topics, such as the new things they want to start, their successful nationwide tour OWV LIVE TOUR 2021-CHASER-. Each day a new solo interview will be released, with Nakagawa Katsunari being the first one!

I’m Nakagawa Katsunari. My charm points are the cuticles of my hair.

What kind of song is the 5th single “You”?
It’s a song that can give encouragement to everyone in March and April, the season of new beginnings.

The concept of the 5th single “You” is “beginnings”. What is something new that OWV will or want to begin this year?
In order to make OWV more known, we would like to have schedules in our home prefectures. Also, I would like to live with the members in a share house (laughs)

Is there something new that you personally want to start this year?
I would like to have a new hobby, so I want to try golf or skateboarding.

You successfully completed “OWV LIVE TOUR 2021-CHASER－” last year! What was the most memorable moment of it?
Of course, visiting 4 cities, being able to meet the local fans and eating the specialties of these places.

A boys group made of Honda Kosuke, Nakagawa Katsunari, Urano Shuta and Sano Fumiya, former trainees of Japan’s largest audition program “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN” , which became a social phenomenon in 2019. The group name OWV stands for “Our only Way to get Victory” with the meaning of “ We will become an unique group no one is able to copy and take the victory in this world” - which includes the strong will of the members. They made their major debut on 30th September 2020, with their 1st single “UBA UBA”! On 9th March 2022 they released their 5th single “You”.
