The boy group OWV is popular for their diverse and genre breaking songs. Their 5th single “You”, released on 9th March, has a mid tempo ballad as a title track for the first time. Following the single concept of “beginnings”, we asked all OWV members about various topics, such as the new things they want to start, their successful nationwide tour OWV LIVE TOUR 2021-CHASER-. Each day a new solo interview will be released, with Honda Kosuke being the second one!

Please introduce yourself!
I‘m Honda. My nephew recently showed me the game (Pokémon) Masters which I started to play. I want to play with him soon!

What kind of song is the 5th single “You”?
This time we had a set of trees for the MV and they had gotten those from the mountains the day before so the trees were very fresh. It felt so good to dance in such a set.

The concept of the 5th single “You” is “beginnings”. What is something new that OWV will or want to begin this year?
Our goal for 2022 is to make OWV known to as many people as possible.

Is there something new that you personally want to start this year?
Table tennis and soccer.

You successfully completed “OWV LIVE TOUR 2021-CHASER－” last year! What was the most memorable moment of it?
The most memorable moment was having a live performance in my home region, Tohoku.

Please tell us of an incident that happened on tour!
The Osaka performance was the first one, which we practised too much so we ended up saying “Let’s go, Osaka” in Sendai and Yokohama, too.

Something you got into recently?
Burning incense after returning home.

Something you saw recently that made you think “so beautiful~”.
The view of the penlights at the lives

Spring has begun. Is there something you look forward to or that you want to try in spring?
I barely went to Hanami (in the past) so I would like to do this.

Hello to everyone taking a look at S Cawaii, I’m OWV’s Honda. We are only 4 members, so I hope you will get to know all of our names and OWV!!

Profile OWV
A boys group made of Honda Kosuke, Nakagawa Katsunari, Urano Shuta and Sano Fumiya, former trainees of Japan’s largest audition program “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN” , which became a social phenomenon in 2019. The group name OWV stands for “Our only Way to get Victory” with the meaning of “ We will become an unique group no one is able to copy and take the victory in this world” - which includes the strong will of the members. They made their major debut on 30th September 2020, with their 1st single “UBA UBA”! On 9th March 2022 they released their 5th single “You”.
