Past & Future

Ren: To be honest... I love perfumes! Sometime soon I want to make it myself
Takumi: To my teen self that was annoyed by a lot of things. “Do your best now!”
Shosei: I want to stand on a dome stage which left an impact on me
Sukai: I have the wish of producing something myself. I want to create a fresh and sexy perfume

Q1: What kind of teenager were you?
Ren: My friends were in middle of entering university and job hunting, but I was chasing my dream that I wasn’t sure whether it will come true. I worried a lot, but I want to say to myself back then “believe in yourself and go your way!”
Takumi: In my teens I was a baseball boy the whole time. There were times when I thought studying and club activities were annoying, but if I look back now, it was a good experience and it became my origin. Back then I gave my best as good as I could, but I want to tell myself to put much more effort into it.
Shosei: It was a time when I had setbacks during the challenges I faced while chasing my dream. The time when the way in front of me suddenly closed was painful and for a week I cried while reading the train. That’s why now, it’s really good that my dream became true.
Sukai: I thought of nothing but the future. It wasn’t “I want to become an artist”, but I wanted to find a job so I can earn money for my family. To myself back then I want to say “find an hobby useful for your future” like an playing an instrument.

Q2: what do you want to do in the near future?
Ren: I want to make my own perfume. It seems like you can make it relatively easily with just essential oil and dehydrated ethanol. Because still I can’t go shopping, I think if it’s (easy) like that, I wanna make one!
Takumi: I want to meet the fans. But I don’t know when... it doesn’t matter how, so I want to meet everyone who always waited for us, show our grown selves and return the favour.
Shosei: A dome tour. When I was a back dancer for a certain artist I used to stand on those stages and it made a huge impact on me. In my opinion, a dome stage is different from all other stages. That’s why I also want to stand on that stage as JO1. Sukai: Perfume, clothes, shoes, accessories... I want to sell things I produced myself. If it’s a perfume, it would be nice if inside the freshness there’s a little spice and sexiness.

Q3: Back then, if member ○○ was in my class...
Ren: Junki would have been the one with who I would get along the best. Because we often play online games, Rock, scissors, paper or batsu games. On the contrary, Because of his status as a sparkling popular prince, Ruki would be someone I want to get close to. From afar I would look at him “Wah- he is so cool today too~”
Takumi: I think I would get along with Keigo, Shion & Mame. It’s because if we are together, the comfort is, that it’s usually pleasant and I can relax. My rival would be Ren. It would be relationship of making each other able to improve.
Shosei: Shion & Kimata have become good friends who I can talk to without worries and when we are together I calm down. In our free time, those two fool around which makes me laugh. There are also times when we mess around together, but usually my stance is like that. My rival would be... hm... there is no one
Sukai: My friend would be Keigo. We would chit-chat all the time lol my rival would be Junki. Because our natures are similar passionate. I’m jealous that Junki is always smiling. That’s cause I’m the type who is worried about petty things and I’m often told that my look is scary.
