Q: What’s the best way to eat white rice? With cucumbers, sticky pickled vegetables & Yamagata dashi (chopped summer vegetables in soy sauce)! With that I can eat rice without a limit. About 2 portions. Also, tororo (sticky food made from grating a yam. often mixed with other food like dashi, wasabi, and green onions). I kinda like the sticky type of food. If the next day doesn‘t start early, I usually try to cook for myself. But I don’t like washing the dishes. However I like cooking.
Q: Your favourite egg dish? Sukiyaki (thinly sliced meat, often beef, which is slowly cooked with vegetables in iron pot in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, and mirin) dipped in egg! It’s a masterpiece, isn’t it? Coupled with that sauce, it‘s perfect.
