Focus on OWV Honda Kosuke "MUSIC BLOOD" Tanaka Kei is also amazed by the direct approach to Yoshimoto Kyogo "You have an amazing ability to take action"

On the 13th May broadcast of the program "MUSIC BLOOD" for which Tanaka Kei and Chiba Yudai are MC off, the corner "THE NEXT UP ~ You are the next one" (literal translation) will focus on OWV's Honda Kosuke.

In the 7th installment of this corner, which seeks to discover new talents who are on the verge of breaking through, Honda is introduced as a participant of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN".

Honda was 24 years old when he joined the audition, placed first in the dance block, and he was so respected that he was also in charge of his group's choreography. However, he failed to debut when he placed 15th in the final. He reveals what was on his mind back then: "I was just frustrated and there was nothing but worry about my future."

Afterwards, without giving up his dream, Honda worked part time in a call center, while visiting Yoshimoto Kogyo every day and continuing to have direct talks with them if there was somehow a way to become an artist still. And this feeling reached them and he managed to have his major debut as a member of the 4 member next generation boy group OWV in 2020.

In response to this video, Tanaka commented "You have an amazing ability to take action" and he was amazed by Honda having these talks every day. Furthermore, Chiba also praised him: "It is amazing that you truly managed to make it happen."

From then on, the talk turned to whether they had approached the "upper ones" in their agencies directly in the past. There, Tanaka started "Actually this is quite the story between me and the CEO already...", before giving Chiba the sudden quiz question "When I was traveling by train, there was a time when I was really busy, so I asked the CEO for a car for this. What do you think he said? The CEO?"
