A way of speaking that can be instantly put into practise? [OWV are answering! The questions from working women vol.1]

OWV have released the impressive and powerful song “Time Jackerz”. They are a variety of different characters, led by their leader Honda Kosuke, who is considered as a reliable big brother by the other members, and here they brilliantly answered the questions of working women.

[Question 1]
My supervisor keeps on giving me advice that miss the point and sends me pushy emails. How should I respond in such situations?

Become a good supervisor in the future by learning from this bad one

Katsunari: You know that enduring it too much isn’t good. It is rather a matter of how to get through it.
Shuta: I guess it is a problem all Japanese people will face to some degree sooner or later.
Katsunari: I’m the type of person who wouldn’t say anything so I would try to deal with it inside of myself. My brain is useful in this regard, because I forget about it after I go to sleep.
Shuta: That’s nice~
Katsunari: When I am troubled, I watch movies that make me laugh or other contents that do so to change my mood after returning home. Laughing is really important!
Shuta: So, if someone misses the point, you should laugh at them?
Katsunari: No, this would end up in a fight (laughs). People who can drink alcohol, could do so, but since Shuta and I can't drink, laughing would be the best solution for us.
Shuta: We could drink a delicious cafe latte!
Katsunari: Also, if you are told something, something that misses the point and you have the ambitious spirit to think “I am more capable than this person”, you won’t do the same thing to your subordinates when you become the supervisor one day.
Shuta: I won’t make subordinates feel the same way! That’s something Honda-kun would say right away (laughs).
Kosuke: Yes. I would say “Isn’t it different?” or “It becomes stressful” (laughs).
Shuta: But, it is important to mention it to some extent. Fumiya, what do you think?
Fumiya: I would talk with my fists.
Shuta: This is an absolute no-go! No, you can’t do that!?
Everyone: (laughs)

[Question 2]
As a senior, I admire a persuasive way of speaking. Please tell me a persuasive way of speaking that can be instantly put into practise.

Persuasive power is proportional to your confidence!

Shuta: People who are persuasive have often mastered their paths, so I believe that you become more convincing if you keep on pursuing your path. For example, Downtown-san’s talking about comedy is very persuasive, isn’t it?
Katsunari: People who stay true to their principles give weight to each one of their words, right?
Fumiya: But sure enough, having an element of adoration is necessary, so becoming rich after winning the lottery would be something very persuasive, wouldn’t it?
Kosuke: But first, you have to win, right? (laughs)
Fumiya: (unconvinced face)

Who is the most persuasive member of the group?
Shuta: Well… this depends on the field I think. But overall it’s me, isn’t it?
Kosuke, Katsunari, Fumiya: …
Shuta: No one sympathizes with me?
Kosuke: Isn’t persuasiveness something that is born in someone who has confidence and knowledge? In Shuta’s case, he lacks persuasiveness because he lacks confidence…

Ah! His voice is always loud, isn’t it?
Shuta: Hey, hey! This isn’t an indication of my lack of confidence! (laughs)
Fumiya: Shuta, he said that if you become more confident you will be more persuasive.
Shuta:... I’m gonna do my best (laughs).
