Unbiiiiinding the small bonds of the 11 members
In conjunction with the second album “KIZUNA” released on 25 May, we asked the members to answer a survey, such as “If it’s ○○ it’s that guy!” about their “bonds”. This is a pick up for which we selected only their deepest answers. Kawashiri Ren. Born 1997.3.2. From the prefecture Fukuoka. JO1’s charismatic dancer leader who sets his eyes on the world.

Takumi: I never felt the bond as much as when we directly meet at lives or events. I was especially happy at our first lives with an audience!
Kawanishi Takumi. Born 1999.6.23. From the prefecture Hyogo. Even though he is shy, he can be sly from time to time. A treasure trove of charms who attracts people.

4 questions JAM are curious of
Q1: A habit or speaking habit you recently discovered of another member?
Ren: Takumi constantly touches his lips. I wonder whether he is worried if they are dry.
Takumi: It‘s Junki-kun. When he spaces out, his mouth is pretty much always open (laughs)

Q2: If you got 3 days off, where would you go with everyone?
Ren: To a dog park!! Some time ago I got the chance to pet a puppy and once more I realised how cute animals are, so I would be fine with going to a dog park during those three days (laughs). I want to run around in the sunlight of the spring with the dogs. Each member together with a dog with which they feel comfortable with. I want to have a good time with 11 people and 11 dogs (laughs). What I’m sure about is that Takumi would take a Chiwapu and I would take a Siberian Husky.
Takumi: Atami! When we went there for a shooting I thought “It’s the best!” as it has the sea, mountains and Onsen, but there was no time. Moreover, we went by car, so we were stuck in traffic and it felt far. I heard it is closer than you think when you go by Shinkansen, so it would be surely nice to soak in the Onsen with all the members.

Q3: Which member made you think “that guy is so cute” recently and what was the reason?
Ren: It’s Mame and Takumi. Both of them have the temperament of younger brothers and it might be a bit of a stretch to say, but the more you pester them, the cuter they become. Just like dogs (laughs).
Takumi: Ohira Shosei. He directly approaches me and often talks about things I don’t understand. It is cute how he says things like “That’s really nice~” as if he found something even though he is not observing me (laughs).

Q4: Please tell us the most impressive episode or the hardest part of the production of “KIZUNA”.
Ren: For the MV when we filmed outside, it was a place with a rich nature, so I suffered from pollen allergy. It had been a while since I was attacked that much by pollen (cries).
Takumi: At the MV filming there is a scene when we dance on sand, and we completed it covered in dust because of a strong wind. When I watch the MV, I guess I will nostalgically remember the sand and the dust.

Q: Do you have a memorable picture or episode from the previous Vivi shootings?
I like all of Vivi’s pictures! Not just the fashion, but also the sense in the complete articles is amazing! The pictures with Takumi earlier are also really well done, so I’m looking forward to the finished product!
Q: Which song would you like to cover as the dance leader?
There are barely any opportunities, so I would like to dance to a song from a girl group. It doesn’t matter whether it’s from Japan or Korean, if it’s a recent or an old song or the genre. Well~ there are a lot of songs I want to do.

TAKUMI
Q: Did you go to play something with a member recently?
Ehhhh? With the members? (really troubled) We are too busy with work, so I really don’t have time to go to play recently!! It’s something I’m grateful for, but when I think of it I get sad!! I want to go to play!
Q: Are you aware that you are sly?
(He whispers to Ren-kun next to him “Which is the right answer?”. Ren-kun advises “It’s more sly to say ‘I’m aware’”.) Well, I am not! (breaks out laughing)
